At #TeamOcklynge we offer a broad and varied curriculum, which is hugely enjoyed by our children. Each term all of our learners across the year groups explore with their teachers their learning topics and #BigQuestions with enthusiasm and commitment. ❓❓❓ Recently, Mr Reilly took a classroom tour across the year groups to explore their engagement and learning, here's what he discovered:- 🧮#TeamYear3 have been learning about metric conversions in #Maths, converting 'CM to M' and vice versa! They were measuring one another, both inside and outside of the classroom, and even Mr Reilly got involved with their creative learning. Good job #TeamYear3! 🌏#TeamYear4 have been exploring the weather, considering climate using biomes in #Geography! Miss Sage #Class4S and the Year 4 team, got creative with film paper and colouring pens to help cement this learning in a fun and engaging way. Well done #TeamYear4! 💯#TeamYear5 were exploring multiples in their #Maths lessons, with Mrs Quine #Class5G taking their learning outside with a ‘Sharks and Fishes’ game, ready to explore multiples whilst playing and having fun. It was heads down and the big pads out in #Class5C, who were designing a growing city in #Geography and learning about #MegaCities. Great job #TeamYear5! 💓#TeamYear6 were exploring their heart rate, whether resting or exercising, during their #Science lesson. Miss Banks #Class6B took to the outdoors where our learners jumped on the spot amongst other exercise, ready to measure the impact on their own heart rate. Great stuff #TeamYear6!
