END OF TERM 3 NEWS: OCKLYNGE CELEBRATES TOP 25% FFT ATTENDANCE AWARD – TERMS 1 & 2!

We are incredibly proud to announce that we have been recognised in the Top 25% of primary schools in England for #Attendance across Terms 1 & 2, as awarded by FFT.🎉📈 This is a fantastic achievement that reflects the commitment of our learners, families and staff in prioritising excellent attendance, ensuring every child has the best chance to learn, grow and thrive. Good attendance is vital to children’s progress, wellbeing and long‑term success. As a school, we celebrate all learners working hard to maintain 96%+ attendance (the national benchmark for ‘good’ attendance), and we continue to encourage every child to strive for 100% whenever possible.⭐🤩⭐ From #Term4, we will once again be sharing regular class attendance certificates, recognising the teamwork, consistency and effort shown across all year groups.🎉📈 📢 Mrs Bode, Deputy Headteacher, said: “We are thrilled to be recognised in the Top 25% nationally. This reflects the brilliant commitment of our school community, showing what can be achieved when we all work together to prioritise attendance.” 📢 Mrs Forbes, Attendance Officer, said: “Every day in school really does make a difference. I’m so proud of the effort our children and families are putting in, let’s keep aiming high and celebrating good attendance across the school.” A huge well done to #TeamOcklynge, especially those classes and individuals who have shown outstanding attendance so far this year. Let’s keep up the momentum as we move into #Term4!🎉📈
