TERM 3 NEWS: 'AUTISM IN SCHOOLS' PROJECT – OCKLYNGE IN PARTNER WITH NHS!

We are incredibly proud to share that the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has today released the official Autism in Schools video, featuring our learners, staff and parents from #TeamOcklynge. ⭐💙⭐ This powerful piece, launched to mark Children’s Mental Health Week (this week 9–15 February 2026), highlights the importance of ensuring that every child feels safe, supported and that they truly belong. Our learners and dedicated SEND team have once again shone, speaking openly, honestly and courageously about autism, their experiences, and what 'inclusion' at Ocklynge means to them. ⭐🤩⭐ Their voices are at the heart of this pilot project, and we are blown away by the impact they continue to make across East Sussex and beyond, offering their journey and experiences to others across our East Sussex County Council schools and - more importantly - other children and families. ⭐💙⭐ 📢The NHS shared today, 📌SEE THEIR POST BELOW: “In Sussex, we're bringing the vision of Children’s Mental Health Week to life through partnership working and initiatives that aim to create school environments where children can thrive.
